- Important Info
The Benfleet Teaching School Alliance is pleased to invite all science teachers to our collaborative Science Network Group. The group has been set up in order to establish a thriving collaborative science teaching community with strong links across schools and phases, enabling teachers to share ideas and raise the profile of science in our region.
The network group is aimed at secondary NQTs/new teachers and KS2 teachers/subject leaders focusing on the KS2/KS3 curriculum and student transition.
At each meeting we will be asking our KS3 NQTs/new teachers to demonstrate some practical science that would be directly relevant to KS2 and asking our KS2 teachers to feedback some top tips for classroom management to assist our NQTs.
This meeting will focus on:
- Practical activities to support topics on forces and magnetism
- Suggestions for further topics
We hope that this collaborative approach will prove helpful and supportive for both phases. We would welcome any suggestions from network members for further meeting focus. Please contact Denise Mair on firstname.lastname@example.org should you wish to add any items to the agenda.
This group session is suitable for primary KS2 teachers/subject leaders and secondary NQT/new teachers.
Please email Denise Mair on email@example.com should you wish to attend the meeting.
